Opis stanowiska

Praca będzie polegała na przeprowadzaniu reakcji elektrochemicznych i fotokatalitycznych, syntezie substratów potrzebnych do reakcji katalitycznych, pomocy w przygotowaniu materiału do publikacji i prezentacji.

Projekt „Fotoelektrochemiczna konwersja biomasy – krok w kierunku zrównoważonej syntezy związków chemicznych” jest realizowany w ramach działania First Team Fundacji na rzecz Nauki Polskiej współfinansowanego przez Unię Europejską ze środków 2. Priorytetu Programu Fundusze Europejskie dla Nowoczesnej Gospodarki 2021–2027 (FENG).

Warunki zatrudnienia: stypendium 2000 zł miesięcznie, okres wypłacania stypendium 12 miesięcy, wypłacane z grantu przez 12 miesięcy

  • Ukończone studia I stopnia na kierunku chemia, biotechnologia, farmacja (tytuł licencjata lub inżyniera);
  • Dobra znajomość chemii organicznej oraz języka angielskiego.

Kryteria oceny Kandydatów

  • Doświadczenie dostosowane do potrzeb projektu oraz znajomość chemii organicznej;
  • Dorobek naukowy mierzony jakością i ilością publikacji naukowych lub przyznanych/zgłoszonych patentów;
  • Kreatywność oraz samodzielność w prowadzeniu badań naukowych;
  • Umiejętność pracy w zespole;
  • Zdobyte nagrody lub wyróżnienia;
  • Znajomość języka angielskiego umożliwiająca pracę naukową.

MATERIALIZE – Methodology and Synthesis Advancement To Empower Researchers In Advanced optoeLectronIc matErials

Opis stanowiska

Description of tasks:

  1. Design and execute an interdisciplinary research project aligned with the submitted proposal and aligned with the overarching scientific goal of the programme, which is the development of next-generation organic materials for optoelectronic applications or the novel methodology for their synthesis.
  2. Collaborate closely with a mentor from IChO and a co-mentor from an international partner institution to guide project development and growth.
  3. Contribute to training activities organised by the project, including the creation and implementation of the Career Development Plan (CDP), with the goal of advancing professional skills and their own career perspectives.
  4. Participate in an international secondment to a research or industry organisation for a minimum of 3 months.
  5. Disseminate research findings through publications in peer-reviewed journals, conference presentations, participation in scholarly networks and co-creating and spreading materials for the general public.

Oferta

Terms of employment: Full-time position, temporary contract for 36 months. The gross monthly salary:

Basic salary: ~4 350 EUR gross monthly, (total funding*: 5 200 EUR)

Mobility allowance: gross ~418 EUR (total funding*: 500 EUR),

Family allowance (if applicable): gross ~334 EUR (total funding*: 400 EUR)

The total (basic salary + Mobility Allowance) gross amount of about 19 860 PLN minus tax deductions and minus social security / sickness insurance  deductions will give an estimation of what successful candidate can expect to receive monthly at their bank accounts

*Total funding includes the gross salary and employer social security contributions

Wymagania

Mobility Rule: Candidates must not have conducted their main research activity or reside in the host country (Poland) for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately prior to the deadline of the Call (including remote work for a legal entity established in Poland).

Required competencies

Doctoral Degree: Applicants must hold a PhD by the call deadline in chemistry, physics, biology, or a related field or possess a formal document confirming the defence of a doctoral thesis before the deadline of the Call.

Kryteria oceny Kandydatów

All applications will be evaluated in two main areas: proposal evaluation (70%) and Candidate’s professional experience and competencies (30%)

Proposal will be evaluated against 3 main criteria:

  • Excellence,
  • Impact,
  • Implementation

Candidate’s professional experience and competencies will be evaluated against 3 main criteria:

  • Scientific record (quality of publications, patents, and involvement in research grants);
  • Mobility and international experience (international experience, scientific exchanges, change of professional profile);
  • Professional competencies (knowledge of techniques necessary to implement the project, management skills).

Second stage (Interview) evaluation criteria are as follows:

  • Scientific knowledge (depth of knowledge in organic chemistry and understanding of the proposed research area);
  • Presentation skills (clarity, structure, innovation, and scientific relevance of the presentation);
  • Communication & interaction (ability to answer questions, communicate ideas, and demonstrate critical thinking).
