We are pleased to announce that the project “MATERIALIZE – Methodology and Synthesis Advancement To Empower Researchers In Advanced optoeLectronIc matErials” (HORIZON-MSCA-2025-COFUND-01), coordinated by IOC PAS, has been selected for funding by the European Commission.

Within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND programme, we will launch a five-year international postdoctoral programme for 15 researchers, dedicated to the development of new synthetic methodologies and the design of advanced organic optoelectronic materials. The programme will be carried out in collaboration with leading scientific institutions and partners from 11 countries.

The project encompasses research in areas such as photoredox reactions, multicomponent reactions, organic electrochemistry, photomechanochemistry, supramolecular chemistry, and excited-state modelling, integrating interdisciplinary approaches essential for advancing organic materials for photonic and electronic applications.

This achievement represents a significant success for the IOC PAS team and an important step towards creating an innovative, high-quality research-based training programme for postdoctoral researchers.
