For Students

We offer:

  • Paid internships funded by grant funds or the Institute’s subsidy
  • Opportunities to complete mandatory student internships
  • Opportunities to conduct thesis research in cooperation with universities – Bachelor’s (B.Sc.) and Master’s (M.Sc.) theses

We are looking for:

  • Students of chemistry and related fields (biotechnology, pharmacy, chemical engineering, etc.) – both Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs
  • Ambitious candidates interested in organic chemistry who are eager to take on scientific challenges
  • Candidates with a command of English that allows for reading scientific literature, writing reports, and preparing scientific presentations

We provide:

  • Individual guidance from an experienced scientist – in addition to meetings with a Mentor (Head of Group), each Intern works directly with a Ph.D. student or a Postdoc/Ph.D. holder
  • Opportunities to participate in national and international scientific conferences
  • Opportunities to collaborate with international research centers as part of ongoing projects, as well as co-authorship of scientific publications resulting from the Intern’s work
  • Access to modern research infrastructure and hands-on experience operating advanced equipment
  • Flexible working hours adapted to university classes and coursework
  • Opportunities to continue a scientific career at the Institute of Organic Chemistry Polish Academy of Sciences (IOC PAS) within the Doctoral School
