Research conducted in Group Xc under the leadership of Dr. Kajetan Dąbrowa and published in Angewandte Chemie International Edition has attracted attention from Polish media. In the article “Rediscovering Sodium Ionophores as Selective Agents for Lithium Recognition and Extraction”, the authors showed that simple ionophores can efficiently and selectively capture lithium from solid salt mixtures.
