We are pleased to announce that the project “Centre for Quantum Digital Organic Memristors (CKCOM)” has been awarded funding under the prestigious MAB-FENG programme. This marks an important step toward advancing next-generation molecular computing technologies and strengthening the position of the Institute of Organic Chemistry PAS as a centre of high-impact, innovative research.
Within the CKCOM initiative, the project aims to develop groundbreaking organic memristors whose operation is based on proton quantum tunnelling and digital switching mechanisms. These technologies have the potential to enable exceptionally energy-efficient computing systems, supporting the future development of nanoelectronics and memcomputing.
The project will be carried out by interdisciplinary research teams in collaboration with leading scientific and industrial partners, creating a strong foundation for future implementation of molecular-scale technologies.
We are confident that CKCOM will open new research avenues and significantly contribute to the advancement of next-generation technological solutions.
