Requirements

Required competencies

  • MSc in organic chemistry
  • very good knowledge of organic chemistry
  • knowledge of the English language in speech and writing
  • previous work in the laboratory in the field of organic synthesis

Desirable competences

  • experience in the chemistry of heterocyclic compounds
  • experience in photophysics
  • letter proving the submission of the PhD-Thesis

Job description

The work will consist of carrying out electrochemical and photocatalytic reactions, synthesis of substrates needed for catalytic reactions, assistance in preparing material for publication and presentation.

The „Photoelectrochemical Biomass Conversion – a step towards sustainable synthesis of chemical compounds” project is carried out within the FIRST TEAM programme of the Foundation for Polish Science co-financed by the European Union under the European Funds for Smart Economy 2021-2027 (FENG).

Terms of employment: scholarship for 12 months – stipend (including employer’s costs) 2,000 PLN per month
