The National Science Center has announced the results of the OPUS25, which is addressed to all scientists, regardless of the stage of their scientific career. Funding from the OPUS program was awarded to:
Prof. Agnieszka Szumna for the project: „Peptide-based luminescent coordination capsules and cages – towards bio-inspired cavities illuminated by chiral light”
and Prof. Ryszard Ostaszewski for the project: „Chiral hybrids of quinones and quinols with double anticancer and antimicrobial activity against drug-resistant pathogens as potential agents in hospitalization of cancer treatment”.
