NCN announced the results of ETIUDA 8 competition, in which our PhD students received 3 grants. ETIUDA is a competition for research projects aimed at people preparing a doctoral dissertation and taking their first steps on the path of their scientific career. 448 PhD students applied for the eighth edition of the competition, and 84 of them received funding. The laureates will receive scholarships and an internship at a foreign research center of their choice. Project funding has been granted to: M.Sc. Paweł Jakub Czerwiński “Reductive functionalization of amides as a tool for synthesis and further transformations of previously inaccessible imines”, M.Sc. Katarzyna Orłowska “Donor-acceptor diazoalkanes in visible light induced reactions”, M.Sc. Joanna Turkowska “Light-induced generation of alkyl radicals as a result of breaking C-C and C-N bonds”.
