The Foundation for Polish Science has announced the results of the START competition, which is the country’s oldest scholarship program for the best young scientists among all fields of science. Every year, the FPS awards a scholarship to 100 scientists who are under 30 years of age.
Since 2009, the FNP has additionally awarded awards to five people whose achievements are considered outstanding.
Among the winners of the START competition in 2021 there are two scientists from the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences: Dr. Aleksandra Wierzba and Mrs. Agnieszka Wołos, who received the award.
