4 NCN grants for the Institute of Organic Chemistry

The National Science Center announced the results of the OPUS competition addressed to all scientists, regardless of the stage of their scientific career, and the Sonata for projects carried out by researchers with a doctoral degree.

Funding from the OPUS 20 program was received by Dr. Cina Foroutan-Nejad for the project “Design of Functional Organic Memristors (DOOM)”.

In the Sonata 16 competition, funding was awarded to:

Dr. Katarzyna Rybicka-Jasińska “Photoelectrocatalysis in simultaneous, paired electrolysis – zero-waste approach in modern organic synthesis”

Dr. Anna Żądło-Dobrowolska “Degradation of hazardous chemical compounds into valuable building blocks: from computer-planned paths to experimental validation”

Dr. Przemysław Gaweł “New Molecular Architectures for the Exploration of Singlet Fission”
