The publication by prof. Agnieszka Szumna in Angewandte Chemie

The Professor’s group described the formation of exceptionally large molecular capsules (approx. 30 A in diameter) as a result of the interaction of 5-fold symmetrical polyphenolic macrocycles with anions. This discovery opens the possibility of using similar capsules for example in catalysis! The article by prof. Szumna, Mrs. Monika Chwastek and Dr. Piotr Cmoch was awarded with the cover.
