Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the organizing committee we have the pleasure to invite you to participate in the IIIrd Symposium: “Nuclear Magnetic Resonance in Chemistry, Biology and Medicine”. The Symposium will be held in Warsaw, Poland from September 20th to September 22nd 2007 at the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
The aim of our interdisciplinary meeting is to bring together specialists of magnetic resonance spectroscopy working in chemistry, biology, medicine and related fields of research. The scientific programme will cover all areas of nuclear magnetic resonance, including novel experimental applications as well as theoretical approaches to determine the structure, structure–function relationships and other properties of organic and bioorganic systems. The programme of the Symposium will comprise full lectures, oral communications (20 min) and poster presentations. The official language of the Symposium is English.
A number of distinguished scientists have agreed to deliver plenary lectures at the Symposium:
-
Helmut Duddeck – Hannover University, Germany
-
Robin K. Harris – University of Durham, United Kingdom
-
Joseph R. Lewandowski – Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA
-
András Perczel – Eötvös Loránd University, Hungary
-
Andrzej Sienkiewicz - Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland
-
Maria Sokół – Center of Oncology Maria Skłodowska-Curie Memorial Institute Branch Gliwice, Poland
-
Vladimir Sychrovský – Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Czech Republic
-
Sławomir Szymański – Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland
-
Jerzy Walecki – Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland
We wish to encourage young NMR spectroscopists to attend the Symposium and to present their own research in such an interdisciplinary forum.
We consider active participation of young scientists to be the meeting’s greatest asset.
We are looking forward to welcome you in Warsaw!
