Staff: Agnieszka Sadlej, Ph.D.student; Wojciech Schilf, D.Sc Research Activity The major research interest is concerned on application of the nuclear magnetic resonance in organic chemistry. Particular attention is concentrated on nuclear magnetic resonance of heteroatoms in the liquid and solid phase (13C, 14N, 15N, 17O, 77Se NMR; 13C and 15N CPMAS NMR). At present, scientific interest of group includes two topics: - examining interactions between organic ligands and transition metals by NMR techniques, investigation of new chemical shift reagents and the problems related to chiral recognition in NMR spectroscopy. Our recent works were concerned complexes of rhodium(II) salts with chiral ligands and ligands containing nitrogen atom. - investigation of hydrogen bonds and tautomeric equilibria by the use of various NMR techniques, mainly 1H, 13C, 17O and 15N NMR, in the liquid and solid phase.
